The Rule Groups tab displays the names of the Rule Configuration groups to which the messages in the Message Levels tab belong. For a combined C and C++ project, separate groups for each language are displayed.
When a message group is expanded, it shows a hierarchy of sub-groups, allowing you to drill down to the set of messages that enforce a particular rule.
